Day 33 Corea

8/21 We thought the fog might be lifting as we sailed between the islands, but it socked in again for a while. Between us we did well to avoid lobster pots but there was one lobster boat that came into view suddenly as I was hanging washcloths on the lifeline. Bryan plotted our course for Corea, a fishing village with about two dozen lobster boats in the harbor. We tied up to a lobster raft, the only place that had just enough water. Just after the full moon the tides vary by 13 feet, instead of thr usual 11 feet. The vertical photo is from the stern of our boat—you can see it gets shallow quickly and the huge height difference in the floating dinghy raft and the dock.
