Guitar Giveaway & Refreshments: Every ticket gives you a chance to win a new Eastman Guitar, and in-person guests will enjoy complimentary hot apple cider and delicious home-made baked goods! At this special concert, we’ll hand out “passport books” to follow along all the countries that will be visited in the music.

Join us online or in person in my hometown of Downers Grove IL for my 34th annual After-Thanksgiving concert! An evening of acoustic music, stories, delicious refreshments and a chance to win a new Eastman guitar courtesy of Tobias Music.

Special guest this year is guitarist Alberto Lombardi, direct from Italy.

New Earlier Time: Saturday November 29th, 2025 7:00 p.m. Doors open at 6:30pm.

Where: First Congregational UCC of Downers Grove, 1047 Curtiss St. Please enter through the glass doors on the west side of the building. Curtiss is a one-way street heading east and the church is one block west of Main Street.

Tickets $28. tickets also at Anderson’s Bookshop & Tobias Music in Downers Grove as well as at the door.

If you buy your tickets online you’ll automatically be entered into the drawing. If you pick up your tickets from Anderson’s Bookshop or Tobias Music, please email concert@murielanderson.com with your ticket number for a chance to win the Eastman guitar.

Charity: A portion of proceeds go to the Music for Life Alliance charity, this year supporting the Chicago Jazz Philharmonic’s summer camp program as well as their new program teaching science and math through music.

Free parking: There is a parking lot across the street, behind the library. There are also limited parking spots behind the church and along the street.
