8/20 Island state park trail maintenance workers bid us adieu as they went to work aboard their kyaks and we took off towards parts westward, not sure how far we would get. I just learned of a memorial service for a friend in Downers Grove, so our new destination is to get me to Portland, Maine in 2 weeks to fly from there and leave Bryan to solo sail. I know I will miss being with him on the boat. We picked up the last of packages that we had mailed to the pizza shop in Jonesport, (my Sailing Dreams CDs, so we could give one to our new friends). Having gotten a late start, we anchored at a cove a little ways west of there called Mud Hole.
