Somehow, I’ve never got pizza crust down, and I appreciate visiting friends who do! This is from Carole Hibbeln in Silver Spring, MD
- 4 cups of flour
- 1 tsp of salt
- 1 cup of water
- 2 tsp of sugar
- 1 packet of yeast
- 4 tbsp of parmesan cheese
- 3 tbsp of olive oil
- ingredients in bread maker or mix all together and let rise until doubled. Bread machine manual setting or mix/raise for 1 hr.
- On floured board, spread or roll out thin. Place on oiled pan or pizza stone. When dough is gooier, it is harder to work with, but comes out crisper.
- Add cheese and cook another 4-5 min.
Makes 5-6 individual pizzas.
