I believe Jonesport is the friendliest place I have ever been. At one time this port had three sardine plants and other businesses that have largely gone away. It does have better internet than elsewhere in these parts, so we returned, again in heavy fog, in order for me to broadcast my Monday Live from our new friends Dana and Tova’s house. Every person we came across greeted us and many engaged in conversation. A man at the dock knew what boat and dinghy we were on simply because he said “I know everyone here and every boat in this harbor, except you.” A fisherman with a new puppy suggested we see Bar Harbor.
