Bless this place of coming together

After caroling around the neighborhood, my mother started a new tradition of everyone singing a hymn I wrote called “Bless This Place of Coming Together” before opening presents. It was a lovely Christmas celebration with extended family, and felt like Christmas I remembered as a kid.

Christmas carol sing

The Christmas carol sing with family and Friends today was like a step back in time. As a kid, I got a handle on changing chords and learned a lot from Christmas carols. Tomorrow we’ll bundle up, take the kerosine lanterns and several generations will carol around the neighborhood as we do every year. Muriel
